  My wife and I stopped in to Ethan Allen on a Sunday afternoon looking for a coffee table. We were just starting to look had no intention of purchasing that day. A saleswoman approached us and asked if she could help. When we stated that we were just browsing. She couldn't take the hint and proceeded to ask us about the style of our house, how much room we have, our other furniture, etc. We entertained a few of her questions but then told her we were really just looking and proceeded to move on. As we were heading for the door, she approached us again and began peppering us with more questions, including asking us for our name and address. We asked why she needed that information and she huffed and stormed off. I know the Ethan Allen salespeople bill themselves as interior decorating consultants, but we were not looking for that. Some people just want to come in and buy one piece of furniture. We purchased our bed frame at Ethan Allen about a year ago and had a much better experience, but we've run into this woman twice now at this store and both times she has been pushy and rude. We will not be going back to this Ethan Allen.
